PLEASE can I ask you not to forget those brave soldiers who are serving in Afghanistan, and who seem to be having rather a hard time of it.

We can help a little by sending parcels (in a shoe box) of no more than two kilos.  Sweets are good, suduko books, chewing gum, dried fruit and nuts, biscuits, (not chocolate, it will melt in 40-50 degrees C), cream cheese, fish paste, cheese straws, chutneys, perhaps toothbrushes, face flannels - anything that will make their life a little easier Their knowing that they have not been forgotten is so important.

Tape them up and write one of the addresses from above, and don't forget the sender's name and address. Take the parcel to the post office, you will not be paying postage for up to 2 kilos as it is free. It will take about five days to reach our Armed Forces.
